Deprecation

Endpoints can be deprecated when a newer version is added; the old one eventually expires. Deprecated endpoints are marked in the API reference and announced in response headers:

Deprecation-Sunset: 2024-10-01 00:00:00
Deprecation: This API endpoint is deprecated and will be removed in a future version, use a newer version.

Alert on these headers so you find out before anything breaks.

Check endpoints v2

The Core API Check endpoints exist in a newer generation under api/v2 (same paths, version segment v2). They return the modern check model and honor the Accept-Language header for localized product names. The api/v1 Check endpoints are deprecated with a sunset date of 2028-09-01.
